Salmon River Rafting: Choose Your Own Adventure
The excitement begins when you start planning for your Salmon river rafting adventure. Your head will reel at the seemingly endless possibilities. Work with your outfitter to design a tour that is perfect for you and your family. Choose your level of difficulty. The river offers choices of difficulty classes for different skill levels – from classes 1 to 4 – so you get the right amount of excitement without going in over your head. Choosing your landscape is also important. There are twelve different sections of eight rivers to choose from. Each trip offers a different set of landscapes, rapids and challenges. You can choose half-day trips, day tours, or multi-day vacations. Rafting isn’t the only thing you can do either. Add some twists to your Salmon River rafting adventure by incorporating hiking, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. You can even take a break for a spiritual retreat.
