Data Storage Devices

A data storage device is made to record information, retrieve information, process information, or all simultaneously. Recording medium is what you refer to those devices that are only used to record information. Electronic data storage  is much easier to edit and change and rewrite than other methods, but the risk of data loss, when not backed up, is greater than the risk of loss even with paper or other back up options. Just a random fact, but data storage in Mexico is called almacenamiento, so if you are ever looking at sites in Spanish you will be able to find what you are looking for.
