I Once Did it Myself
If there is one mistake that men seem to make over and over again when giving best man speeches, it is getting drunk before they give them. They think it will loosen them up, but it usually ends up making them look stupid. It also makes it appear that they really don’t care about the bride or the groom. I found this out the hard way, because I once did it myself. I still cringe when I think about the things that I said that day. The next time I have to do that, I will definitely search the Internet for wedding speeches for best man. That way, I won’t feel like I have to drink to calm my nerves.
