What is Chi Running

 A running technique and running philosophy that is gaining increasing recognition is called Chi running. Now even the huge running shoe company, New Balance, has released a Chi running shoe for the technique. The supporters of chi running are quite fanatical and claim all these remarkable benefits for it, when there is no evidence that it is any better or the injury rate is any lower. The technique that is being used of chi running is to apply a mid foot strike rather than a rearfoot strike. But the evidence is that to change a runner’s style of running takes more energy than to use their natural style.
