Everyone by now has heard about gastric bypass surgery used my many famous people to achieve truly amazing weight loss results. An even more extreme version of this surgery is called a sleeve gastrectomy. In this procedure a large portion of the stomach is actually removed. the middle part of the stomach is taken out entirely and the two remaining parts are joined using staples. this is a very extreme procedure and is generally only used on the most obese of individuals.
