We enjoyed Our Holiday

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

My wife and I went on Holiday, and spent some time at a Bed & Breakfast. The place used to be a well known Victorian Home, and it had recently been remodeled to its former grandeur. Every morning after our hot breakfast we would walk into town and pick out an electric bike to rent. We had a wonderful time just going through the quaint town and visiting all the shops. It was a very romantic time for us, and we enjoyed it all so much. We really loved how the bikes were so easy to operate. We plan to go back again next month.

Surprise madness

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

I know there is a surprise party coming up but that is all I know and it is driving me and all my co-workers a little crazy. It’s getting towards that time of year where most businesses close down for a couple of weeks and it seems like we will be celebrating that fact. I have been asked to organize transport through the local car rental company as it seems that we will be heading out of town, well I’m guessing we are due to the fact that we need it. Whatever is happening I’m sure it will be one heck of a time and there will no doubt be a few sore heads the following day.

Planning The Grandchildren’s Birthday Parties

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

Having grandchildren has been the most wonderful experience of my entire life (other than my own children, of course).  My children have all chosen to live in practically the four corners of our great United States and getting together is always a challenge.  After a family discussion via phone and Internet mail, it was decided that one date would be chosen during the summer months and we would pursue the possibility of celebrating all birthdays on this date.  Carnival cruise deals offered some terrific possibilities being that our number of passengers was over thirty total.  The cousins were ecstatic about being able to see each other and a great party was planned aboard as well.

Picking the pockets

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

I can tell you first hand that sitting in the Old Town Square in Prague, watching the pick pockets at work is pretty entertaining, in fact I filled up my travel blogs just with stories about these master craftsmen. That might be a little complimentary to them as at the end of the day they are nothing but petty thieves, however they are extremely good at what they do, even though it is immoral and illegal. Money belts, bags or any other equipment used to carry valuables was no problem for these guys, they had the goods and were out of sight before the victim even knew what had happened.

Learning new tricks

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Looking for taupo luxury accommodation was so much easier with an online search. I have been stuck in the dark ages for a while and just used the old traditional phone book, but my wife insisted that I learn to use the internet and find places online. I was actually really surprised at how easy it was to use and how detailed the information was. It really makes the decision of where to stay so much easier as you get to see pictures of the places and images of maps that show exactly where they are in comparison to other things around town.

Bargain hunting

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Almost the entire day I have been online looking up things for our trip. My girlfriend has been pestering me to make a trip up north, so now I am busy planning that. I was looking up auckland car hire to see what sort of deal I could get on a vehicle, I actually managed to find a great deal with a company that is based at the airport. Finding a hotel and flights was the next thing. Again, I found a great deal on some flights, however the hotel was going to be a relatively large expense, which was quite annoying considering I found bargains on the other things.

Auckland Hotels Best Choice For Travel Economy, Comfort

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

When you are getting ready for the first time to visit New Zealand, you may want to consider going to the beautiful city of Auckland to start with, as there are many awesome attractions for you to view, and many places for some neat vacation experiences. While on your stay in Auckland, you may also wish to consider staying in one of the many auckland hotels, since this option for lodging seems to be the most economical, and with more of the comforts and amenities attached to them. Check on the web to see room availability, then book your accommodations right away.

Spending Summers in Prague

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

My family and I spend our Summer in Prague every year, because that’s where my husband is from. I really look forward to our prague city breaks and sometimes I even consider living there even though I know this is something my husband isn’t too excited about. He would much rather visit once a year and live somewhere else, but I suppose that’s the same way I feel about my hometown in Texas, so I can’t blame him for that. It really is great to have a place we cherish so much when we visit, and I suppose that if we did live there things wouldn’t be the same. In this regard I guess that’s why the thought of living in Prague will probably always be just that, a thought.
