My father loves playing the bodhran. It is a kind of drum that has a deep sound and more commonly knows as the Irish or Celtic drum. I am amazed with how my father can play this drum. I have always known that someone in the family is a good instrument player. I can play the guitar, the piano, and violin. My friends always tell me that I got it from my parents. Now I know where I got that talent. Dad has a lot of bodhrans. He buys a new one every now and then. He told me that he will teach me how to play the bodhran someday.
